Overview

User Experience (UX) Design is the process of designing digital and other types of products or services that are user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate. These solutions may be applied to the web, 3D and immersive environments, as well as many other types of products, processes and services.

Students in this User Experience Design program at Wilfrid Laurier University will learn both the theory and tools used by UX designers and receive hands-on training in psychology and UX research methods, design thinking, business strategy, prototyping, usability testing, interface design and more.

Program Structure

You'll start building your portfolio from your first semester in the program and work on real projects with clients from industry, government and community organizations.

A competitive entry eight-month co-op opportunity is available after your second semester.
