- An Australian 4 year Bachelor Honours degree (or equivalent) in transportation, civil engineering, environmental engineering, sustainable engineering, infrastructure engineering, urban/city/town planning or other related fields approved by the Faculty of Engineering, with at least high credit (65%) average.

- An Australian 4 year Bachelor Honours degree (or equivalent) in transportation, environmental sciences, human geography, architecture, land surveying, human geography or other related fields approved by the Faculty of Engineering, with at least high credit (65%) average and a minimum of 3 years professional work experience* in transport, urban, city, town or regional planning.
