• This master has been designed based on the research and technology transfer experience of four universities in Galicia and northern Portugal, to offer a master's degree with an updated program of techniques and foundations of an expanding interdisciplinary field such as computer vision.
• The title addresses the need to train qualified personnel in a field that is becoming essential in maintaining the momentum of innovation in areas as varied as industry, health, road safety, biometric control and video surveillance, photogrammetry, crop and territory control, and in general a multitude of applications in all areas of production and entertainment where the image plays a role. With the exponential growth of the volume of digital images and videos captured by cameras, the automatic understanding of our visual world has never been more important.
