Overview

The online Global Cultures programme from King's College London is designed to give you knowledge and understanding of the factors which shape transnational cultural aspects in our increasingly globalised world. You'll learn how to tackle complex issues related to global cultures, such as race, cultural identity, and gender, from both academic and professional perspectives.

Additionally, you'll gain insights on contemporary cultural practices, such as diversity and inclusion (D&I), intercultural communication, creativity, ethical awareness, and culturally sensitive leadership, that can be applied in the real world.

Career

Many businesses and organisations now accept the value of proactively recognising, adopting, and promoting cultural awareness and diversity. This not only helps to develop partnerships and relationships in foreign markets but can also attract a more diverse and representative workforce. For the international organisations, charities, governments, and governmental organisations whose work impacts the inhabitants of different countries, possessing a knowledge and appreciation of diverse cultures and languages is critical.

As a result, this MA could lead to a variety of management and consulting roles in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. You’ll graduate with some of the most in-demand soft skills, including communication, leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, adaptability, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
