This Industrial Minerals program at University Kebangsaan Malaysia provides students with the opportunity to experience the research process to instil the passion for discovery and to acquire research skills and deepen their knowledge in an area of science. The aim of this program is to provide professional development of students, providing experience in problem definition, hypothesis formulation and testing, data acquisition, analysis and interpretation, and project presentation. Students work under the guidance of a supervisor who is a full-time academic staff member of the faculty

A person who intends to apply for a master’s programme should have the following Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree by obtaining a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from a University or any institution of higher learning recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and/ or having accreditation recognized by a foreign Accreditation Body, or institution who has accreditation as prescribed by a programme;
Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University or any institution of higher learning or an equivalent degree from any institutions of higher learning recognised by the Senate;
any other qualification recognised by the Senate obtained through the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL);
fulfils other requirements prescribed by the programme (if applicable) and
fulfils requirements of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
