Overview
The main aim of the Pathology (Hematology) program at University Kebangsaan Malaysia is to produce graduates of the highest calibre, knowledgeable, professional, ethical with the ability to develop life-long learning attitudes.
Programme Structure
The programme is designed such that in the first year, students are able to gain further knowledge by attending lecture-based modules. At the end of the first year, students are encouraged to identify and discuss potential projects for the research component and to meet up with supervisors. Students would begin their laboratory-based work as soon as possible at the beginning of the second year.

- Bachelor’s Degree by obtaining a good Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from a University or any institution of higher learning recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and/ or having accreditation recognized by a foreign Accreditation Body, or institution who has accreditation as prescribed by a programme;
- Doctor of Medicine degree or Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University or any institution of higher learning or an equivalent degree from any institutions of higher learning recognised by the Senate;
- any other qualification recognised by the Senate obtained through the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL);
- fulfils other requirements prescribed by the programme (if applicable) and
- fulfils requirements of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
