The Religion in Contemporary Society degree at MF Norwegian School of Theology provides both analytical skills and practical skills to study and discuss religion using social scientific methods.

General requirements

Applicants for this programme must have a bachelor degree in Christian theology or equivalent to be eligible for admission.
A Bachelor's degree (or a period of study comparable with a Norwegian Bachelor's degree from a recognized Higher Education institution) in Theology or Religious Studies, with an average grade equivalent to Norwegian C level (British Second class, upper division).
A minimum of 80 ECTS must be in Christian theology. General admission requirements (except proficiency in Norwegian). Applicants who complete a bachelor degree before July 1st can apply, but the application will not be considered before the completed degree is documented with a diploma and transcript of records.
All applicants must document their proficiency in English.
