Overview

The course is designed to blend work-based learning with face-to-face teaching to allow you to build on your existing experience and enhance your applied sport competencies. The course team have multi-disciplinary expertise and involved in some sector leading research. This research informs teaching on the degree and you will consider how best to apply current and innovative research in practice.

Throughout the Sport and Exercise course, you will study your own applied practice, the practice of others, and be supported by a supervisor who has extensive experience and specialises in an area of interest to you (sport and exercise, sport coaching and strength and conditioning). You will learn to apply investigative methods to your applied practice to improve both your own and your athlete's practice.
