Advanced computing technologies provide a roadmap of technological innovation across science and engineering domains. The MSc Advanced Computing is a specialist postgraduate degree focused on teaching advance topics of internet-of-things, big data and e-health.

It is designed to develop your practical development skills. It will enable you to develop a comprehensive understanding of advanced computing technologies within industry and academia as well as acquire hands-on experience.

Overview

Common modules focus on the key themes of advanced computing and on planning, analysing, developing, evaluating, deploying, and managing advanced computing systems and services for modern day organisations and businesses.

Our MSc Advanced Computing, MSc Big Data and MSc Artificial Intelligence have been awarded a number of fully-funded tuition fee scholarships by The Data Lab for 2024/25 entry. This means that for selected University of the West of Scotland students, further to successful individual scholarship application, there will be no tuition fees for this course.
