Overview

Throughout the Cyber Security course from the University of Limerick  you’ll explore cryptography, digital forensics, biometric authentication, and secure programming. Modules include hands-on work with advanced programming, cryptographic mathematics, and security protocols used in real-world systems. You’ll also learn how to analyse vulnerabilities, design secure infrastructures, and investigate cyber incidents. 

The programme includes a major engineering project where you’ll apply your knowledge to solve a real-world security challenge. It is equally suitable for recent graduates and established professionals in preparation for roles in technical leadership, security analysis, or digital forensics 

During this programme, you will:  

• Gain a deep understanding of cyber threats and vulnerabilities in sectors such as banking, e-commerce and telecommunications. You will use programming, cryptographic and forensic methods to analyse threats and security measures.
