Overview
Industrial Mathematics is offered by TU Dortmund University. Taught entirely in English, this specialization provides students with the necessary mathematical tools to solve problems in the industrial sector.

Starting from October, students will learn how to apply mathematical modeling and simulation techniques to real-world problems in areas such as finance, engineering, and logistics. By the end of the program, graduates will have gained a unique and highly sought-after skillset, making them highly competitive in the job market. The master’s program is offered by TU Dortmund, which is just a 20-minute walk from the famous BVB soccer stadium. It will be one of the venues for the 2024 European Championship. The university has recently renovated its gymnasium and sports fields. Here, students can play soccer, badminton and table tennis or take gymnastics and yoga classes and more for a small fee per semester. This includes offerings at TU Dortmund, but also at 13 other universities in the area at no extra charge.

You must have completed a Bachelor’s degree thatwas taught in English, or you will need a TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 (paperbased)/ 215 (computer-based) / 79 (internet-based). Some elective courses will alsobe offered in German, but the Industrial Mathematics Master’s degree can also becompleted entirely in English. Therefore, no German skills are needed.
