Overview

The graduate of the Managerial Mathematics from Comenius University Bratislava masters the methods of creating mathematical models in a wide range of their use with a special focus on models in management and finance. He is experienced in the analysis of these models at the level of differential and difference equations and mathematical statistics. The graduate knows modern statistical software as a programmer and can use it to solve the tasks of managerial, financial and business practice.

Career Opportunities

The study of Managerial Mathematics does not prepare graduates for the performance of regulated professions. However, the focus of the study primarily leads to the fact that our graduate is ready to apply in a wide range of managerial positions after graduation, especially those that require the ability of accurate logical reasoning and knowledge of quantitative methods of applied mathematics and statistics in business practice.

The natural employers of our graduates are medium-sized and larger companies that need the use of analytical methods of management and marketing, banks and insurance companies with their positions as risk specialists for their effective management.
