Overview
Mathematics is offered by TU Dresden. As such, it is a key skill for fundamental research, industrial research and development, and a wide range of applications.
Key Facts
Designing an efficient motor, steering an aircraft or production facility, quickly transferring data and organizing the logistics of a large company are inconceivable without being able to create, understand, analyze and solve mathematical models. The research-oriented Master’s degree program in Mathematics aims to provide students with sound skills, scholarly flexibility and creativity as well as a readiness to work together with others. Furthermore, it offers students a high degree of flexibility in selecting the mathematical content of the degree program, their academic specialization and their non-mathematical minor subject. Students can begin their studies either in the winter semester or the summer semester. This Master’s degree program can also be completed as a part-time program.Programme Structure
