Overview
For this last module, you’ll complete an e-portfolio to record your leadership development. This Dental Public Health, Policy and Leadership (Online) Postgraduate Diploma from Queen Mary University of London builds on our Postgraduate Certificate course by including four additional modules that allow you to develop ‘real world’ transferable public health skills.
- Gain specialist insight into dental health policy and a portfolio of technical skills
- Part-time, online course so you can study alongside your other commitments
- An ideal career boost if you want to lead in healthcare
- Study at one of the UK’s top-rated dental schools: we’re joint first for research environment (REF 2021)
What you'll study
You’ll take eight compulsory modules, covering topics such as dental healthcare policy, primary dental care, evidence-based decision making, and health systems policy and performance. Your compulsory units also include a research skills module and a module on Leadership and Planning in Health and Public Services (run in collaboration with Queen Mary’s School of Business and Management).
You’ll be studying at an internationally respected institution: we’re ranked 14th in the world for dentistry (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022). We have some of the most modern facilities in the UK: the Institute of Dentistry moved to new premises in The Royal London Hospital in 2014 – the first UK dental school to be built in 40 years.
