Course Overview

Product Management is the ultimate program to train an expert in fashion products; someone who can understand the creative and research process and then plan, organize and manage an entire product lifecycle. Developing a product line requires the ability to understand materials, details and each construction phase, all the while incorporating a relevant degree of design sensitivity.

This Product Management program at Polimoda integrates three main modules: Fashion System; products, designers, brands and trade fairs, Methodology; product categories (from textiles to knitwear, denim and leather accessories), product development and construction techniques based on different raw materials and Management Tools; purchasing, operations and pipeline, project management and product management.

Throughout the master, multiple projects will be assigned to explore the different production methodologies and techniques.

Careers

Depending on previous experience and academic achievements, employment can be found within production firms, brands, design start-ups, retailers or buying offices. The main job profiles are:
