Overview
University of Sharjah has established the Master of Science in Architecture (MScArch) program, which is offered by the Department of Architectural Engineering. The Program is research based, consists of 33 credit hours, and normally requires 2 years of study. In response to the interest of prospective students and potential employers of future graduates from the Program and to bolster promising and much needed fields of research and innovation, the Program will cover the areas of urbanism, sustainable architecture, and digital design and technology. The program aims to prepare world-class and leading experts in architecture and urbanism who will be effective in the study, critique, analysis, and design of the built environment.

General requirements
- The student must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university with a CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00. Students with a CGPA between 2.5 and 2.99 may be admitted conditionally.
- The degree must be in a major that qualifies the student to study the master program.
- Students in programs taught in English must obtain 550 on the TOEFL (PBT) (should be taken inside the university), 79 on the TOEFL (IBT) (outside the university) or 6 on IELTS (Academic).
