Overview
The Materials Science and Engineering program of the University of Augsburg offers students a broad variety of elective courses to specialize in, like spintronics, porous materials, reinforced composites, low temperature physics, nanostructers and many more. Furthermore, through the corresponding method courses the theoretical knowledge can be enhanced with practical experience.

Over the course of four semesters, in-depth studies of various aspects of fundamental materials’ research in physics and engineering will be provided, culminating in a master’s thesis on individual research by the student in advanced materials science.
