Overview
The vision of the Political Science department at Government College University Faisalabad is to enable students to analyze political structure, political systems, institutions, and to enhance awareness of political science by promoting theoretical knowledge of political theory and comparative political systems, international relations, international and regional organizations, political parties and interest groups, state issues, contemporary international issues as well as scientific disciplines and branches of study.

General requirements
- The candidates must have passed MA/MSc or BS 4-years (minimum 130 credit hours) or equivalent degree in the relevant field from HEC recognized institution with at least 50%marks (Under Annual System) or 2.50 CGPA (Under Semester System) for admission to MS/MPhil programs.
- The MPhil candidate have to clear University admission test (60% qualifying marks) or GRE/HAT General or equivalent conducted by HEC with 50% qualifying marks.
- The respective Dean/Incharge Faculty will supervise the test and interview as part of admission process.
- Candidates working in the Government/Semi Government or Private Institutions shall have to submit “No Objection Certificate” from the concerned organization.
