Overview

The Mathematics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev offers a Thesis (research) track and requires two years of full- time study. Outstanding students may join the combined M.Sc.-Ph.D. track during the 2nd year of their M.Sc. studies.

Every year, students in the program attend a highly distinguished lecture series and participate in international conventions featuring well-known mathematicians.

General requirements

B.Sc. degree in Mathematics at a minimum GPA of 80/100 from an accredited institution.

A TOEFL score of 85/120 or the equivalent score in an internationally recognized English proficiency exam is required.

The candidate must identify a potential advisor (research supervisor) among the faculty's staff. Use the link below to search for an advisor.

In some cases, a Skype interview will be conducted as part of the admission process to better assess the student's abilities.
