Overview
Applied Statistics from University of Göttingen helps us to develop and apply general methods and tools to analyze large and complex amounts of data from different sources for objective analysis. Applied statistics is also an interdisciplinary area of study that combines the synergies of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.

General requirements
- A minimum of six semesters of study culminating in a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent course of study with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Economics, Agricultural Economics or a closely related discipline (e.g. empirical Social Sciences and Psychology).
- Applicants must have completed at least 150 of the 180 ECTS credits at the time of application. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications that do not meet this requirement.
- Completed 60 ECTS credits and course work in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences or another quantitative subject
- Proof of language proficiency required for the degree programme
- Statutory declaration (Eidesstattliche Versicherung)
