This MAS Internet of Things from the University of Geneva provides a complete and comprehensive presentation of all issues related to the installation and deployment of Internet of Things solutions, covering all the domains from high-level strategy, legislation and regulatory, to practical experimentation and hands-on laboratories.

Overview

This Master in Advanced Studies on the Internet of Things have been tailored for professionals and future professionals in this domain. The programs are co-organized by the University of Geneva, the IoT Forum and Mandat International.

They will be taught by top European experts from the research and industry to deliver a comprehensive education on the Internet of Things.

The programs will leverage on European research projects, industries and experts to deliver a comprehensive education on the Internet of Things with invited Professors and experts from various European universities and research centres, to provide a cutting edge education on the Internet of Things.

Outcomes:

  • Master strategic and holistic view of the Internet of Things encompassing technological, societal and business dimensions
  • Develop an innovative, interdisciplinary and holistic approach
  • Identify critical issues and solutions related to Internet of Things strategy design and implementation
  • Acquire a holistic view and a sound understanding of the Internet of Things ecosystems and deployments
  • Capacity to lead Internet of Things strategies, projects, implementation and deployments
  • Acquire a comprehensive view and understanding of emerging technologies and trends in the Internet of Things ecosystems and industry
  • Capacity to handle related issues such as user-acceptance, security, privacy and business modelling
