Key Facts
Numerous hours of lessons are dedicated to laboratory activity, which is not limited to traditional exercises to support the notions learned during the frontal hours, but under the guidance of expert teachers, allows the full involvement of the student in tackling real biomedical problems personalized and translational research. These activities make it possible to acquire, in addition to high-level scientific research skills, some important transversal skills, including the ability to "problem solving" and teamwork. Alongside the teachings in the basic and preclinical scientific fields, the course is characterized by an intense seminar activity conducted by experts from the academic and productive world, and actively involves the interested parties, also through remote lessons, thus guaranteeing students access to production companies or advanced research laboratories located throughout the country and internationally to which face-to-face access is necessarily limited. Over the two years, students also learn the statistical and ethical aspects of pre-clinical trials and develop skills in the economics and management of innovation in biomedicine and intellectual property.
