Overview

The MSc Construction and Project Management provided by Westford University College in collaboration with Abertay University, UK, is aimed at learners who want to enhance their management abilities and advance into construction roles. The course is designed and presented by a multidisciplinary team of prominent academics, with input from real-world industrial practitioners. ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠

Overview

Learners in this program will learn how to manage construction projects of all sizes successfully and sustainably. The curriculum includes construction-related technical, management, and entrepreneurial themes.

Upon completing the program, students will be able to face the significant challenges of managing complex construction projects for the built environment, critically assess project proposals for building developments, research issues of environmental effect and sustainable design with construction practices and provide construction solutions efficiently while balancing considerations such as planning, budgeting, environmental safety, personnel, and construction materials. Learners will also be able to lead projects in senior roles while learning the technical and practical elements of managing a successful construction project from start to end.

Furthermore, Learners will develop their research skills by completing a dissertation on a construction topic supported by our academic staff.
