The Degree Course has existed as an individual course at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" since 1990 under the name "Environmental and Territorial Engineering", of which it has maintained over the years the areas of competence and objectives, however modifying the specific contents as a result of the need for updating and adaptation to the advancement of technical knowledge in the sector and to the needs of the world of work. Since 2017, the Degree Course has been in possession of the European EUR-ACE® mark, which certifies the quality of Bachelor and Master's Degree Courses in Engineering that meet European accreditation standards.
