Overview
Communication plays a key role in the sustainable renewal of businesses and societies globally. AI, geopolitics and strategic narratives are at the heart of the contemporary global communications landscape and impact the new communicative solutions for challenges related to clean air, water and energy.
The scarcity of these life-giving resources creates conflicts and crises. By engaging in continuous dialogue and drawing on cutting-edge research, organisations, communities and societies can build common understanding and orient their activities towards more sustainable ways of operating.
Communication is the key to creating new social innovations, driving sustainability transitions, and enhancing social inclusion. Hence, effective and responsible communication is essential in successful change and cooperation between different actors in societies globally.
You will acquire knowledge and expertise to find new solutions for challenges related to the life-giving resources of clean air, water and energy – from the perspectives of global communication.
You will:
- become an expert in planning, developing and leading global communications in the contexts of crises and grand societal challenges;
- acquire skills to critically analyse and assess different forms of soft power, disinformation and strategic narratives that shape the global and local perspectives on climate change, sustainability and the green transition;
