Key Facts
- Candidates can have variable and not necessarily medical background and a strong desire to invade the world of forensics.
- More specifically, The Forensic Medicine, Anthropology and Imaging programme at University of Crete will offer basic knowledge in musculoskeletal and cross-sectional CT anatomy, will introduce candidates to Forensic Medicine in terms of scope, methodology and legal framework and will facilitate specialized training in the areas of Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Imaging.
- Students will have the opportunity to review real forensic cases and test themselves in forensic scenarios both individually and in groups. Legal and ethical issues in the medicolegal investigation of death will also be addressed through practical examples.
