Software Engineering at University of Limerick involves the application of specialised knowledge and skills to develop different kinds of large, complex software systems. There is continuous demand for software engineering graduates both internationally and nationally. This course will provide an opportunity for students to gain up-to-date knowledge and skills in software engineering. 

Overview

University of Limerick students will develop their ability to critically evaluate current software engineering research.  The course consists of both a taught component and a project.  It will equip graduates with a detailed knowledge of the theories, processes, methods and techniques of building high-quality software in a cost-effective manner.  The course is offered in both full time and part time mode (one day per week), with both versions having the same academic content.

    The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. The GRE® General Test contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
