Overview

Through its strong transdisciplinary approach (i.e. a method guided by mutual learning processes between science and practice), students will gain a comprehensive understanding of relevant coupled human-nature-technology systems, positive and negative mechanisms and effects of transitional processes (including underlying obvious and hidden rebound effects), innovation patterns with relevant interventions potential.

Transition, Innovation and Sustainability Environments (TISE) delivers a holistic take on transitional processes and innovation strategies, educating students to be change agents for challenges in complex human-environment systems (socio-cultural/socio-technical/socio-economic).

Student Mobility Scheme

The TISE program has a clear and simple, yet effective mobility scheme, which corresponds to the needs of the curriculum:

The 1st semester, including commencement weeks will be held at UNL (Portugal).

The 2nd semester will be held in at UCD (Ireland).

The 3rd Semester will be held here at Poznan University of Economics and Business (Poland).

The 4th semester is taking place at DUK (Austria).
