Overview
Chemistry at St. John’s University features a broad and cross-disciplinary curriculum that includes such areas as organic and inorganic chemistry, computer applications in chemistry, natural products, methods of analysis, and reaction kinetics.
You work closely with distinguished faculty members as part of the supportive scholarly community that exists within the Department of Chemistry. You may also have the opportunity to supervise undergraduate laboratory activities as a graduate assistant, receiving tuition remission and a stipend in return.
With an M.S. in Chemistry from St. John’s, you’ll be desirable to employers in and beyond science. You’ll be eligible for careers in exciting areas of growth, including:
