Program Details

Hydrogen is one of the key elements for a climate neutral future. When produced from renewable sources, hydrogen represents a climate neutral energy carrier which will be used in a future energy economy for energy transport.

Hydrogen also provides solutions as a raw material in the chemical industry for creating green and sustainable chemistry in connection with CO2 , biomass or waste materials. In this way CO2 neutral aircraft fuel or sustainably produced plastics can, for example, be produced on the basis of hydrogen.

A currently unique focus of the Hydrogen Technology course from Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences will be on the use of hydrogen in energy intensive industries such as steel and cement production or the chemical industry. Other core content includes innovation management, the economic evaluation of various technologies and the integral consideration of complex, interconnected, hydrogen systems.

Degree in a relevant technical or scientific bachelors course with an overall mark of “good“ or better and English and German language skills in accordance with admission regulations.
