Overview
This Sports Strength and Conditioning (Part-Time) course from University of Gloucestershire is designed to build on the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) award and the UKSCA Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC) award, to provide a necessary range of theoretical and practical experiences for a career as a strength and conditioning practitioner.
You can study full-time for a year or part-time over two years.
Assessment methods include exams, essays, critical review, presentation, scientific report writing, athlete reports, e-portfolio, proposal, student-led projects and a dissertation.

This course leads to a variety of career paths. You’ll graduate with the skills and experience to work in strength and conditioning at both elite and amateur levels.
Opportunities also exist within national governing bodies where you can contribute to the development and implementation of conditioning programmes.
