Overview

The Master's program COSOM Complex Condensed Materials and Soft Matter at University of Regensburg contains five compulsory modules and two elective modules. In three compulsory modules chemistry and especially the physical chemistry of complex fluids and their interfaces are deepened.

In addition, a one-year, mandatory study abroad at one of the participating European partner universities (Versailles, Florence, Lille) is provided.

Study abroad

The preparatory module for Master's Thesis contains courses on language and culture of the host country where the Master’s Thesis is completed: currently, France and Italy. The final module includes the extensive scientific Master’s Thesis in combination with seminars. This module has to be passed mandatory at a university participating in the Master's program abroad.
