Overview
Throughout the User Experience Design Postgrad.Cert from Fanshawe College you will learn to craft digital interfaces and experiences that meet the needs of audiences using human-centered design. Drawing from a multi-disciplinary background, you will gain an in-depth understanding of design thinking frameworks and research methodologies, and UX design and UX research deliverables.
You will also get practical experience in project and stakeholder management, testing, prototyping and communication.

- Represent a linked sequence of observed evidence, collected data, qualitative research findings, interpretations and proposed design solutions to stakeholders to solicit support and commitment
- Assess requirements of a user experience design project, in order to increase corporate acceptance, usability and effectiveness
Present persuasive arguments in support of user experience projects which balance user needs with business objectives

Here are some co-op jobs that have kick-started the careers of some Software and Information Systems Testing (Co-op) students before even graduating!
- Junior Developer - identify issues, prioritize fixes and resolve identified issues. Suggest ways to improve the look and functionality of the web application to improve user experience.
- Information Technologist - re-image and deploy computers, respond to access requests and prepare media for staff.
- Quality Software Intern - work closely with developers, project managers, analysts and other qualified specialists to plan, document and execute testing across many different products and projects.
