The objectives of University of Ulsan's Biomedical Science programme have been set to foster biomedical researchers who can play a pivotal role in medical life science by acquiring new knowledge and research techniques in translational medicine featuring problem solving unmet medical needs leading to innovate medicine development.

To foster creative thinking and researcher’s quality by continuously acquiring the latest research trends and expertise through education and seminars concerning biomedical related basic and applied learning

To enhance research capability by acquiring experimental skills and problem solving skills needed for basic, translational, and clinic researches and learning the latest research methods using state-of-art experimental equipment

To have field-oriented practical competitiveness to draw innovative discoveries and application through the convergence education linking the industry-university cooperation system

To have a sense of duty in contributing to human health by devoting themselves to the research & development of biomedical science on the basis of strong ethics as a researcher

You and both your parents must have foreign citizenship.

Not eligible if you or any of your parents hold Korean dual-citizenship.
Taiwanese applicants are eligible even if one of the parents holds Korean citizenship.
You must hold a foreign citizenship (not Korean dual-citizenship) and must have completed or expect to complete all your primary and secondary education (equivalent to Year 12 qualification in Korea) fully outside of Korea.
Master’s or Combined program applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
