University of Ulsan's major fosters design professionals who make living spaces beautiful and pleasant, and enables students to develop the ability to create beautiful and functional spaces with in-depth of understanding of indoor environment and architecture.

The social demand for Interior Design professionals in the field of living spaces and urban environment design is continuously expected to increase. The major has strived to cultivate professional interior designers who are able to respond quickly to the diverse and rapidly changing needs of industries and consumers. It also aims to foster space designers who can comprehensively understand space design, architecture, and traditional architecture.

Aims to foster space designers who can actively cope with the changing social needs pursue globalization of design based on a strong understanding of traditional culture.

General requirements

You and both your parents must have foreign citizenship.

Not eligible if you or any of your parents hold Korean dual-citizenship.
Taiwanese applicants are eligible even if one of the parents holds Korean citizenship.
You must hold a foreign citizenship (not Korean dual-citizenship) and must have completed or expect to complete all your primary and secondary education (equivalent to Year 12 qualification in Korea) fully outside of Korea.
Master’s or Combined program applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
