Key Facts and Aims

Ever since, a special relationship has been maintained between our school and the School of Marine Technology the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in the U.K.

University of Ulsan is located in Ulsan where the world’s largest shipbuilder, Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), is located. The School is supported by HHI, which is also the founder of the University.

Well-organized Education to future leaders.

Naval and Ocean Engineering supports students to study abroad. The School has excellent experimental facilities including a Square Tank, a Wind-water Tunnel, a variety of equipment for structural and vibrational experiments as well as extensive computing facilities.

General requirements

You and both your parents must have foreign citizenship.

Not eligible if you or any of your parents hold Korean dual-citizenship.
Taiwanese applicants are eligible even if one of the parents holds Korean citizenship.
You must hold a foreign citizenship (not Korean dual-citizenship) and must have completed or expect to complete all your primary and secondary education (equivalent to Year 12 qualification in Korea) fully outside of Korea.
Master’s or Combined program applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
