Above all, University of Ulsan is an industrial capital that is being developed day by day, and it has regional characteristics that environmental problems can be an important social issue.

In order to cultivate talented people who can actively and creatively solve these practical problems, our Civil Engineering department provides a single major that combines construction engineering and environmental engineering.

In the future, 'regeneration and creation of infrastructure', 'eco-friendly development' and 'sustainable construction' will be the main issues, and this department fosters talents with diverse personalities to handle them.

In the era of localization and globalization, the department of civil & environmental engineering aims to foster future-oriented civil and environmental experts who can creatively cope with sustainable development and environmental preservation of the local community, the nation and the international community.

General requirements

You and both your parents must have foreign citizenship.

Not eligible if you or any of your parents hold Korean dual-citizenship.
Taiwanese applicants are eligible even if one of the parents holds Korean citizenship.
You must hold a foreign citizenship (not Korean dual-citizenship) and must have completed or expect to complete all your primary and secondary education (equivalent to Year 12 qualification in Korea) fully outside of Korea.
Master’s or Combined program applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or a level of education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
