Overview
The Communications programme at Belarusian State University will be relevant primarily for those who want to work or are already working in the field of corporate communications - public relations, advertising, marketing, press services, information and analytical activities. It will be useful for those who want to teach or conduct scientific research in the field of information and communication in the future. The specialty is interdisciplinary, optimally combines theoretical and practical training. The faculty has everything for mastering the necessary practical skills: several computer classes, a language laboratory for studying foreign languages, a Belarusian-Chinese media center, a media library, every second classroom is equipped with a projector or multiboard. Foreign master's students are invited to participate in all events of the faculty.
Master's students are required to take part in a number of mandatory and elective courses. Classes are organized in such a way that foreign students study together with other BSU students. This should facilitate a good exchange of ideas. There is an opportunity to attend additional courses.
The main areas of professional activity of the Master are:
- communication, advertising, creative, PR agencies;
- corporate communications, public relations, marketing and advertising departments;
- corporate media, including web resources of organizations;
- press services and press centers of government, commercial and public organizations;
- editorial offices of newspapers and magazines; news agencies; Internet media.
