About the program

The Mathematics and Computer Science program at Belarusian State University students undergo industrial (research) practice, which is carried out, as a rule, on the basis of IT companies, HTP resident organizations.

Training is organized mainly in the second shift.

It is possible to additionally study the disciplines "Philosophy and Methodology of Science", "Foreign Language", "Fundamentals of Information Technologies" with the subsequent passing of candidate exams and credit, which are necessary for admission to graduate school.

Universal competencies:

1. Be able to apply the methods of scientific cognition (analysis, comparison, systematization, abstraction, modeling, data validation, decision-making, etc.) in independent research activities, generate and implement innovative ideas

2. Be able to create and research new mathematical models in the natural sciences and information technology, improve and develop concepts, theories and methods

3. Be able to apply the mathematical apparatus and methods of scientific knowledge to the study of mathematical structures and properties of mathematical objects

4. Be able to find, formulate and solve actual and significant problems of theoretical and applied mathematics
