Overview

Students in the Bioinformatics at Belarusian State University study:

• Biology;

• Informatics;

• Information Engineering;

• Programming;

• Mathematics and Statistics to analyze and interpret biological data;

Students undergo two week research training during the studies. Training based on research institutions of the national Academy of the Republic of Belarus, IT-companies dealing with the analysis of medical and biological data.

Grdatuates are able:

spatial structure modeling of biopolymers and their conformational dynamics;
writing scripts in popular programming languages of the bioinformatics research field, application development and library use designed for Science Software in biological research.
