Overview

Students learn theoretical knowledge of energy systems in cities and buildings, as well as computer analysis and design methods. Classes are conducted in the form of lectures, practical exercises, and laboratories. Students apply the knowledge to solve engineering problems with modern tools and methods while working in interdisciplinary teams and get a chance to get their ideas verified by industry experts.

The opportunities in the job market are very encouraging. Graduates of the Energy Systems in the Built Environment program at Lodz University of Technology can be employed by:

consulting companies from the broadly understood building and systems design and energy consulting;

companies from the sector of modern construction, installations, renewable energy sources, companies dealing with energy audits, energy certification and energy conservation;

developers, tenants and managers of buildings;

industry R&D centers; independent expert centers and NGOs drawing up environmental impact assessment reports, certifying, standardization and regulatory bodies;
