Overview
In addition to in-depth knowledge and skills preparing them to conduct scientific research, they also obtain qualifications necessary to obtain professional licenses (geological licenses of various categories and licenses related to work in mining plants). The Applied Geology - Economic Geology from AGH University of Science & Technology continues the tradition of educating AGH UST geologists and prepares students to take up work in the geological and mining industries.
Careers
Graduates find employment in domestic and foreign companies dealing with the exploration, documentation and exploitation of mineral deposits, state and local administration bodies, as well as in the mining industry. After completing their studies, graduates of all specializations can continue their education at postgraduate or third-cycle studies.
