Overview
With its unwavering commitment to outstanding teaching, the Ethics program at Wuhan University is a national center of excellence for the development and training of talented people who seek wisdom, truth, beauty and the good.
The school has more than 6000 alumni. We offer a diversity of routes by which our students can realize their full potential through the wide range of study options available. Included amongst the qualifications the school is authorized to award are: ten different kinds of Doctoral Degrees; eleven types of Master's Degrees; five Undergraduate Degrees; five National Quality Courses, four National Rated Undergraduate Courses; three Ministry of Education Quality Courses (Online); five National Quality Resource Sharing Courses; two National Class Curriculum Platform Courses.
Across these different courses, the School of Philosophy is home to almost 1000 students in total, including 400 full time undergraduates and nearly 500 graduate students. In 2019, the undergraduate program of philosophy is certified as National Outstanding Program, National Training Center for Foundational Science, and College Recruitment Reform Program. In 7071, the undergraduate program of psychology is certified as National Cutstanding Program, and the undergraduate program of religious studies is certified as Provincial Outstanding Program

General requirements
- Applicants shall be physically and mentally healthy and willing to abide by the laws and regulations of China and the regulations of Wuhan University.
- Applicants for a master's degrees should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and be generally no older than 35 years of age.
- Applicants for English-taught programs shall hold a TOEFL 80+, TOEFL Essential 8+ or IELTS 6.0+ certificate.
- Applicants born in a foreign country are required to meet the above criteria and provide a personal birth certificate and the parents' nationality certificates.
