This Pharmaceutical Biotechnology programme at JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding in extremely valuable fields to biotechnology students, which plays a crucial role in determining the future use and applications in medicine, drug discovery and pharmaceutical sector. Pharmaceutical biotechnology is a relatively new and growing field where biotechnology principles are applied to drug development.

The course also comprises a broad overview of micro and macro organisms, hybridomas technology, protein formulation, protein design, computational biotechnology, along with Biotech Pharmaceutical Drugs, Pharmacogenomics, and other biotechnology products such as antibodies, nucleic acid products and vaccines are a majority of therapeutic drugs on the current market. Students will also understand the concepts of learning the underlying values of health and disease, the basic molecular mechanisms regulating the function of relevant nucleic acids, synthesis and molecular purification. The course duration is two years consist of four semesters, and after completion the course that provides many jobs opening for the students.
