This Malay Language Education program from University Putra Malaysia is strengthened by a line of experienced and excellent lecturers in their respective fields of Malay language education and teaching of Malay literature. The advantages and strengths of postgraduate programs in the fields of Malay language education and teaching of Malay literature at the Faculty of Educational Studies are from the following aspects;

Uniqueness and strengths of programmes offered

• combine elements from the disciplines of Malay language education and teaching of Malay literature in the core courses and elective courses. The combination of these two disciplines is in line with the demands by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Malaysia in order to strengthen and honor the Malay language education curriculum
• focus on the field of Malay language education and Malay literature, in which the programs are synthesized by focusing on the field of linguistics, literacy, assessment, curriculum, Malay literature, creative writing skills, 21st Century creativity skills and High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) as recommended by the Ministry of Education Malaysia;
• offer innovative courses in research involving networking and collaborative networks in various public and private education sectors locally and internationally as well as provide financial assistance to assist students in quality publications;
• offer comprehensive curricula that can assist future postgraduate students who are working at any level of higher education administration, policy making and research.
