Courses include:- Teaching and learning comprises of lectures, seminars, tutorials, clinical placement hours and directed studies.
- You will work through a series of scenarios using a Problem Based Learning (PBL) ethos and acquire information to advance their practice and provide a safe hysteroscopy service.
- Assessments include a 30 minute examination, an audit of practice, a clinical competency logbook and a portfolio including case studies.

General requirements
Applicants should:
- Be a registered practitioner on either the NMC (level one) or GMC register, and in current practice
- Hold a degree or have evidence of recent study at a minimum of level 6
- Be working in a gynaecology service, with agreed access to Outpatient Hysteroscopy clinics, and a BSGE trainer
- Have approval from your line manager, and will need to complete a placement self-audit prior to an offer being made
- Become a member of the BSGE upon entry to the module / programme
- A copy of your highest qualification
- A copy of either your passport or birth certificate
- If you are applying for funding through Health Education Yorkshire and Humber you will also need to submit a SSPRD Funding Form
