Key facts
It provides advanced teaching of mathematics and statistics for financial and insurance applications and also the adequate knowledge of the legal, economic and business aspects relating to the financial and insurance sector as well as the IT tools for concrete use in the professional field. The course takes care of the acquisition of the necessary professional skills also with seminars held within the degree course and with the offer of training internships, in Italy and abroad, in financial and insurance institutions, professional firms and consulting firms.Access to the master's degree course is allowed to holders of a degree diploma of class L-18 or L-33. For graduates of other classes, the possession of at least 72 ECTS acquired in appropriate disciplinary sectors specified below is required. Knowledge of the English language of at least B2 level is also required and it is recommended to have a degree grade of not less than 90/110; for all the others, the Degree Course Council verifies personal preparation. In the event of a negative outcome of the verification, registration is allowed but not recommended. The student will be shown the gaps that he will have to fill by following the courses organized by the Degree Course.The course is divided into the finance and insurance curricula delivered in Italian and the financial risk and data analysis curriculum delivered entirely in English. The curricula in Italian begin to differentiate themselves starting from the second semester of the first year and specialize in the two sectors indicated while maintaining some courses in common and providing professionalizing practical activities such as cycles of seminars held by qualified exponents of the world of work, internships and internships. The English curriculum, on the other hand, has a completely autonomous structure.
