The Finance program of Rome Business School is structured to first equip you with general core knowledge in management. Later in the program you will gain expertise in finance by focusing on variety of subjects related to financial management. The course topics include financial assets, portfolio theory, sales & trading, the time value of money, capital budgeting, the cost of capital, capital structure and dividend policy, corporate risk management, mergers and acquisitions, financial statistics & econometrics, big data, and more.
Learning Outcomes
- Assess price risks and implement effective strategies, such as assigning a monetary value to key risks affecting the success of projects or investments, using quantitative analyses in Excel with lookup tables and logical formulas.
- Draft compelling and concise textual documents, including internal memoranda, selling documents, legal documents for committees, client updates, and presentations.
- Analyze and evaluate company financial statements and industry KPIs to develop meaningful insights and make future-oriented recommendations.
- Meet client needs and discuss topics related to business and financial management fluently, including sustainable finance, cryptocurrency, working capital management, big data, risk management, and law.
- Develop practical business management skills in a realistic context, gaining familiarity with common financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, options, swaps, real estate, and cryptocurrency to support business growth.
