Overview

The Architecture and Urban Planning program from Satbayev University is aimed at training professional architects who are able to conduct scientific analysis in architecture and related disciplines, and create sustainable design solutions that meet the standards of energy efficiency, environmental friendliness and convenience.

Undergraduates study theories of architecture, architectural design, urban planning, the main issues of architectural creativity and architecture- urban planning formation, modern aspects of history and theory related to urban planning, reconstruction and restoration.

You will obtain skills to develop design and estimate documentation for buildings, structures and their complexes, landscape and town-planning objects, architectural monuments, and application of information technologies in design engineering field. In addition, you will get knowledge of current trends, domestic and foreign experience and modern architectural technologies. Modern professional knowledge in architectural design field will allow young professionals to transform with courage surrounding architectural environment and have a say in design.

Careers

Graduates will become highly paid architects, city planners and will be able to work in private architectural offices, elite construction companies or create their own architectural firm.
