Students from the Railway Transport program from Satbayev University learn to make strategic and managerial decisions and solve problems to optimize the design and technical-operational parameters of rolling stock, in order to ensure traffic safety and efficiency of rolling stock usage.

Master students undergo practice and internship in the leading companies of Kazakhstan - “Kamkor-Vagon”, “Kamkor-Locomotive”, “Design and Experimental Center” and KTZH various divisions as well.

Careers

Graduates work as engineers for operation, maintenance and repair of rolling stock, heads of departments of railway transport organization, heads of traffic safety service on railway transport, organizing production processes of operation, maintenance and repair of rolling stock based on forecasting its reliability indicators due to modern diagnostic methods.
